Hi, recently located in Nice with my wife after retirement from social work in london.
Main reason for leaving uk is to avoid another winter/summer of rain wind and `weather`. The natural attractions of France are taken for granted.
Hope to spend most of my time here developing my oil painting, tenor sax playing and possibly writing that ubiquitous `novel`.
Would appreciate any contact from expats living in ( or around -say Villafranche etc) Nice, especially if they are engaged in any of my mentioned activities.Painting groups contact with Galleries and jazz, blues,funk people and meeting places especially welcomed.

hi Harry, welcome to expat-blog...
i do in love with your activities..i like oil painting and writing (even though it's not becoming a novel)
and i like sax,well...i cant play it well, so better for me and to avoid sound-pollution, i'd better be a good listener..

the only problem is,i live in Jakarta,Indonesia...
