Hi All,

OK, I am not American, but having lived there for a decade, Thanksgiving has been weaved into my life as a treasured holiday. Anyone, American or not, interested in a get-together or dinner next week (Thus or Fri?)? If we can find a place to host dinner, we can even do pot-luck. I can make brussel sprouts, and would love to try a newly-acquired recipe for sweet potatoe mousse. Also happy to chip in to buy a Turkey.

There's actually already an event being put together like this through the Americans in Bristol group on Facebook. If you'd be interested in joining us you and your sprouts would be most welcome. We're going to be holding the event in the Easton-ish area on the afternoon of Saturday, 24 November as that's the date most people can make it.
