.. to be a foreigner in the Philippines and understand tagalog.
It will give such a nice advantage where ever you will go since no one thinks you do understand.

It will give a permanent mark to those waitresses who were talking about you in a restaurant or bar.. or people working in stores. People looking at you when you jog pass them and so on.

I just love to answer to their questions about something they were thinking about me aloud in tagalog. It will make them so ashamed lol

now that's a warning message to tagalog speakers to be careful with foreigners who they thought have no understanding of any tagalog words. that's good to know you learned tagalog. I think every foreigner who lives here or who wants to live here must learn tagalog.
