Extended Stay for Language School

Post new topic

HippieMama

We are currently trying to decide where to go to study Spanish as a family.  I think we have it narrowed down to either Guatemala or Costa Rica.  I'm leaning towards Guatemala personally.

For several months of the trip it will be just me and the children.  My husband will be joining us for a few weeks at a time.  Are there areas of Guatemala that are safer for a mom and two children than others?

Any suggestions for language schools with programs for children would also be appreciated.

I'm also having issues finding rentals for some areas of Guatemala.  I would like to find a rental for the first month or two of our trip before we leave and then look for a longer term rental when we arrive.

Hello HippieMama.

Concerning the accommodation, you could post an advert in the Housing in Guatemala section. It could help.

Thanks,
Aurélie

HippieMama

I will post about housing over there.  Thanks.
