Greetings to everyone !!

I am considering a deputation offer from my current company to relocate from India to Guangzhou for a period of 3 years.

Shall appreciate if the members can assist on the below queries:-

1. Where do indian expats live in Guangzhou and what shall be the monthly rentals for a 2 Bedroom furnished apartment in such expat neighbourhoods?

2. Names of good IB accredited international schools preferred by indian/other expats and their approximate annual fees?

3. Are there any indian grocery stores?

4. Would RMB 15,000 per month be a good salary to live if school fees and housing is taken care by the company? What should be a decent monthly salary to live comfortably in Guangzhou?

5. How different is Guangzhou if compared with Shanghai? The reason to ask this question is because I have spent 4 months in Shanghai and hence need to understand the difference.

6. Are there Indians living in Guangzhou?

7. Is Guangzhou is safe city to live?

The reason to ask few of the questions is because I plan to relocate with my wife and a six year old child; hence want to ascertain that I make the right decision.
