hello ! i'm student in a high-school from  bucharest and i'm considering going to paris for one year for studies through an exchange program . i will stay in a host parent's house and i'm ok with that but i heard that in france school starts at 8 am  aprox and it ends at 6-7 pm, so i want to know if the school is hard in that 8 hours . and do you know if teachers give homework after 8 hours of school :-o ?:D

Hey, yes school in France starts that early, at 8am to finish at 6pm. You have a break in between from midday to 2pm. You can also have some days when you start later than 8am, or finish earlier than 6pm. Lucky you then... Well, on wednesday, it finishes at midday.

So after your day at school, you have some homeworks to do :) It can be more or less difficult, depending on your level at school I'd say.
