I am a single 67 year old female interested in building community in Medeira. Does anyone know the best way to meet people?

Thank-you!

Deborah

Hi Deborah, Welcome.

Try these meet ups:

Instagram: Madeira Friends.

Learning Portuguese for expats is also a good opportunity to meet people.

Hello Deborah.  My name is Bill and my wife Lisa and I moved to Madeira Nov.20th from Green Valley AZ.  I am 69 and Lisa is 66.  We belong to a fairly large expat group "It'll be Fun" which is a YouTube channel done by Alan and Leslie Gorusch.  We meet every 2 weeks for a wine to watch the sunset down along Lido Promenade.  We can introduce you to who we know in the group.

Great idea. I have a website: [link moderated] but will set up something on social media. I appreciate the suggestion!
