Easiest option would probably be to select a new deal with your existihg lender. They tend to have good enough products, which when you compare against moving are probably just as competitive. You don't need to provide documentation etc. It can usually be done online via your lender. If you need more assistance pop a post and catch up with me.

I am hoping to be out in Bahrain April/May, would be great if you could maybe give me a head's up on your experience of moving there.

I've been an IFA for the last 29 year's, I'm originally from the North East just south of Aberdeen. I have a lot of client's in the oil/gas sector so I'm used to ex-pat planning, remuneration in foreign currency, separation cases etc etc. I remember literally month one of starting I had to deal with a client heading to Doha so it's pretty normal for me. I'm looking for a lifestyle change, hence looking to move out. My brother is a chartered account, we've worked on a lot of client file's for ex-pats. I'd rather be in the sun doing it that here in the cold, rain and dark 🤦‍♂️. He's quite a bit younger than me otherwise he'd be looking to move as well, he'll need to wait a few year's until his family are grown up.
