Hi It's been quite some years since we purchased a property in Bulgaria & we've never sold one. Could somebody advise what the current costs involved to buy are.......as well as the costs involved in selling, via an agent. Any recommendations ...

I want to buy a house by a river or lake for boating. Any recommendations?. What about the danube, are there houses that have yards right on the river bank?. Anyone here have a boat?.

@gwynj Thanks this is good advice. We already have a house on the black sea, in a resort town (10 mins walk to the beach and bars and restaurants etc). But I fancy getting a small place by a lake or the danube as well. Read More

@jeanmandredeix I presume the polar opposite to sunny beach would be Sinemorets or some of the beaches around there. Read More

@JimJ I guess they are talking about "grey areas" where technically you might be treated as resident in both countries.I have two permanent residence visas and now live in a third country. It's a bit of a mind field in the grey zone. Read More
