A year to teach differently, in the heart of Colombia's coffee region

Looking for a home tutor – CNED schooling (CP, CE1, CM1) with the possibility of adding eco-tourism missions related to the project. Coffee Region (Quindio) – Colombia | September 2026 to June 2027 What if a year of teaching became a true human adventure? We are looking for a qualified teacher from the National Education system, or someone with proven teaching experience, currently employed or retired (all profiles welcome), to support the education of three children in CP, CE1 and CM1 levels, enrolled in CNED, during a one-year immersion in Colombia. A unique experience The family settled for a year in the coffee region, in a village located 40 minutes from Armenia, to launch a committed ecotourism and agricultural project: biodynamic coffee plantation, opening of a few guest rooms integrated into nature, Farm-to-table cuisine, rooted in the local terroir, a deeply inclusive approach, respectful of the environment and local communities. The teacher does not just come to "teach a class": he or she shares a life project, a daily life, a rare cultural and human immersion. Your role To provide educational support for CNED programs, in a calm and inspiring environment Structuring learning for three primary school levels, fostering curiosity, autonomy and the joy of learning Making the natural environment a genuine educational tool To be a stable, caring, and stimulating educational presence An open project Depending on your desires and skills, you can dedicate a few extra hours per week to the birth of the project: welcoming travelers, cultural activities, sharing knowledge about coffee, living things or local gastronomy.
