Certified art therapist and artistic and cultural facilitator
Meylan, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, France
About the candidate
As a qualified art therapist and arts and cultural facilitator, I support children, adults, and seniors facing social, emotional, and psychological difficulties through expressive mediation methods centered on play, enjoyment, creativity, and the therapeutic relationship. My approach aims to foster emotional stability, the development and maintenance of personal and social skills, and the support of autonomy, in close collaboration with educational teams and the beneficiaries' social network. My practice draws on diverse training and my background as a visual artist, allowing me to adapt my workshops and programs to each individual through open and collaborative exchanges. This enables me to explore painting, movement, textiles, writing, clay modeling, and many other mediums. I provide daily support, taking into account individual needs and specific requirements related to medical conditions, while also offering and leading adapted activities, particularly outdoors. These programs can be implemented through both individual and group support. I support families in their peer support skills and actively participate in the implementation of socio-educational projects with existing care providers. Accustomed to complex situations, I demonstrate resilience under pressure and a strong capacity for adaptation, while ensuring a high-quality environment and strong relationships. My career has been shaped by demanding educational and social contexts, particularly within Priority Education Networks and in environments marked by social and insular vulnerability, such as Réunion Island. These experiences have strengthened my sense of responsibility, my initiative, and my commitment to individuals and families facing complex situations that require support. Currently settling into my new position in the canton of Neuchâtel (end of March), I plan to take up my new post on April 1, 2026, or as agreed upon. The administrative procedures related to my residence permit will be initiated depending on the position offered. My goal is to establish a long-term presence in the region and to make a continuous commitment to a meaningful institution. I hold a category B driving license and have my own vehicle, allowing me to travel both locally and throughout the canton. Thank you in advance for your reading and attention. I remain at your disposal for any further information and would be delighted to have the opportunity to discuss this further with you in an interview. Good reception, Amandine
