About the candidate
✅ Procurement & Purchasing: Selects suppliers, negotiates prices, signs contracts, and ensures materials are available when needed.
✅ Logistics & Transportation: Plans shipments by sea, air, or road, manages carriers, tracks deliveries, and avoids delays.
✅ Inventory & Warehousing: Ensures stocks are well-managed to avoid shortages or overstock.
✅ Customs & Compliance: Handles import/export documents, Incoterms, customs clearance, bank requirements, certificates, etc.
✅ Production & Planning: Coordinates with factories and warehouses to ensure products are made and delivered on schedule.
✅ Problem Solving: Deals with unexpected issues (delays, port congestion, supplier problems) and finds fast solutions.
✅ Cost Optimization: Reduces logistics costs, negotiates better freight rates, and improves efficiency.
✅ Continuous Improvement: Uses data and KPIs to improve performance, reduce waste, and make processes faster.
