Fruit picking
A fruit picking job involves harvesting ripe fruits from orchards or farms. The job requires manual labor and takes place during the fruit's peak season, usually in the summer or autumn. As a fruit picker, I am responsible for carefully gathering the fruits from trees or plants, ensuring that they are not damaged in the process. I use tools such as ladders or picking poles to reach higher branches. The harvested fruits are then sorted based on size, color, and quality standards. I will be attentive to detail and remove any damaged or spoiled fruits. The job often requires working outdoors, sometimes in challenging weather conditions. I have physical stamina, as pickers need to stand, bend, and lift heavy containers for extended periods. Teamwork and good communication skills are important to collaborate effectively with other farm workers and supervisors. The job provides an opportunity to work in nature and contribute to the agricultural industry.
