Physical Education coach

Hello, my name is Alison Marques, and I am a Brazilian Physical Education professional, coach, and Head of PE with over 16 years of international experience in education and sports.

I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education and have worked in international schools across Brazil, China, and Russia, teaching students from early years through secondary school.

Throughout my career, I have developed and delivered PE programs within IB, MYP, and DSE frameworks, while also leading sports teams, extracurricular programs, and school-wide fitness and wellness activities.

My background as a competitive athlete and coach is also a big part of who I am. I have extensive experience in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, MMA, Capoeira, Volleyball, and Handball, and I have competed and coached at national and international levels.

I believe Physical Education is about much more than sport. It is about helping students develop confidence, discipline, teamwork, resilience, and a lifelong passion for a healthy and active lifestyle.

As a PE teacher and leader, I always try to create classes that are engaging, inclusive, challenging, and enjoyable, allowing every student to participate and improve.

I am passionate about education, passionate about sport, and passionate about helping young people reach their potential.
