Position Context

Established in Côte d'Ivoire since 2016, CERCIS is leading several major projects:

Banco Green Corridor: 10,000 trees planted to create an ecological buffer zone.

Abidjan Official Route: 14 km of landscaped areas, 2,600 trees and 250,000 shrubs.

To support these projects and anticipate future needs, we are seeking a Nursery Manager, based in Akoupé, responsible for overseeing plant production.

Main Responsibilities

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your mission will be to develop, organize and optimize plant production for the group's construction sites and future commercial projects (including a garden center).

Your responsibilities will include:

Developing and monitoring the production schedule according to project needs

Supervising a team of 10 to 15 employees

Overseeing technical management: fertilization, treatments, propagation, maintenance

Implementing a stock monitoring system (production, dispatches, losses, detailed inventories)

Providing monthly reports on production progress

Ensuring the quality and sustainability of produced plants

Candidate Profile

You are passionate about plants and have solid experience managing tropical and/or Mediterranean nurseries.

Required skills and experience:

Education: Horticulture BTS (nursery or fruit production) or horticultural engineering degree (ISTOM, Institut Agro Angers/Rennes, ISARA, ESA, EIP Purpan or equivalent)

At least 6 years of experience in horticultural production

Excellent knowledge of tropical ornamental plants and propagation techniques

Good command of IT tools (MS Office)

Valid driver's license (B) and passport required

Knowledge of the garden center sector is a valued asset
