Apartment to rent in Greece

For rent: furnished 2-room apartment, approx. 60 m² with open-plan fitted kitchen opening onto a large living hall, right on the sea in north-west Greece, opposite the island of Corfu.

The village is called Plataria and lies between the town of Port-Town of Igoumenitsa and the resort of Sivota.

From April to October you can fly directly to Corfu; after a 1.5-hour ferry ride you reach Igoumenitsa. Plataria is 12 km away.

In winter there are domestic flights from Athens or Thessaloniki to Corfu and to Ioannina (1 hour by car to Plataria).

Ferries from Italy sail directly to Igoumenitsa all year round.

Minimum rental period: 1 year; initial maximum period: 3 years.

Cooling and heating are provided by air-conditioning. Electricity is paid by the tenant directly to the power company.

No pets.

The rent includes 15 % taxes.

Water and sewage are not included. Water is paid to the local water authority.

Wastewater flows into a septic tank that is emptied about once a month; the cost is shared among all residents of the building, between 10 and 20€ per month.

One car parking space in the courtyard belongs to the apartment and is included.

Plataria has three supermarkets, a bakery, a pharmacy, two kiosks and plenty of cafés and tavernas.

In summer there are lots of activities: sailing, motor-boat rental, motorbike hire and more.
