A note of caution: I live in rural Uruguay, i.e. not in Montevideo. In Canada I lived in metropolitan and rural areas.

Good morning:

my name is Bernie and my partner is Lorna. We are 81 and 79 years old and looking to find a place to winter. We are on a South American cruise from 22 Dec until 6 Jan 2027. We will be in Montevideo on 4 Jan 27.and like the potential of wintering in Uraguay. I was there in Colonia back in 2013 and fell in love with the country.

Well, I live in Colonia (Department not Colonia del Sacramento) and I love it here. So perhaps I would be a better partner for you than I thought.

We could meet in Montevideo, but really do not see a benefit in that if you do not have time to have to travel or visit with us. Perhaps my original idea of communication per Telegram would still be good. Please let me know by private message how you would like to proceed.
