Anyone near Posorja?

What little that is found on Wikipedia does not make the town sound very attractive:

I haven't been there so it may have some hidden charms...I've been to Guayaquil, though, and the humidity and heat rules out most coastal areas around there for me.

Other sites such as Trip Advisor do not list any outstanding characteristics, and one site in Spanish is a story about the corruption in this poor port city, which could perhaps become a deep-water port for Ecuador since the fishing has diminished due to pollution.

Yeah, that about jives with what I have read.  Very little information is out there.

Isn't that where they are building the new deep water port? Further down the road than Playas?

I might be confused and thinking of the wrong place though. If it is there, it's not very nice.

Yes, that's the right place, where the deep water port is.

I am working on my Spanish.  I still have some time to learn.

I have read there is a lot of unemployment there, but Varadero Beach is also there for some relaxing.
