Introduction : Considering moving to Cotacachi

valbethw

Hi I'm Valerie, and I'm very seriously considering moving to Cotacachi.

I have spent time in Brasil, Argentina, and a little in Mexico so I am comfortable with Latin Cultures. I need to work on my Spanish ( I'm watching CNN in Spanish as I type) and I only know two words in Quechua!

It's going to take some time to liquidate all my belongings, hopefully this will spur me along.

I'm 69, no close family. I'm a bit disabled from osteoporosis.

Welcome, Valerie.  It seems that you are farther along than a lot of ex-pats who consider living in Ecuador.  I imagine that you've done some "homework" in order to consider Cotopaxi as a new home.  It is very different from other places you've mentioned that you've lived.  I send warm thoughts as you continue to consider a home in this very beautiful country.
