Living in Challuambamba planning moving to Playas

I'm an American living in Challuabamba which is 20 minutes from Cuenca central. I've been in Cuenca for 2 years but planning on moving to Playas sometime next year as the cold is getting to my old bones.

Besides the chill, how did you find Cuenca and why Playas?

You wouldn't have to worry about the cold in Playas. The coldest it gets is around 69 degrees F. Playas is hot sunny all year-round. I have 2 townhomes, one is fully-furnished and the other unfurnished. The property is 1.5 Via Data. 2-blocks away from the beach. 5 blocks from Paseo Shopping Center.
