Moving to Belo Horizonte, Brazil

We are moving to Belo Horizonte in October 2017 and would like to bring some house items with us. Nothing really big. Just kitchen appliances, bicycles, Televisions, lots of books, clothes, toys, etc. Any suggestions on companies and best ways to send it as far as containers, etc? Obrigada.

Hi there,

Having shipped containers from BH to the US, and then again another time from the US a few years back I do not recommend it.

What is the primary reasoning behind shipping a container? They will impose an import tax that will make it outrageous to clear customs and potentially hold it for months, then the transport in country to get it to BH is high as well.

If you really really want to do it then I can recommend a company for you.
