Quick Question About Moving To Brazil

otsukihime13

Hello! My name is Angie and I am currently living in the United States but hope to move to Brazil by 2022. If everything goes well! But there's where a few of my questions come in.

I am married and my partner is disabled and cannot work, so she has no source of income but I do and my job is based in the United States but I work remotely and they'll let me move to Brazil without any problem. I'll make more than enough for both of us. Would she be allowed to move to Brazil even if she cannot work?

Also, I need a passport AND a visa to *move* to live there, correct?

Oh and just because I didn't include this, we already have somewhere we can live with a loved one. We're actually moving there to be with them.

otsukihime13,
Welcome,
Do you have relatives/family living in Brazil? Are you a citizen or permanent resident?
Without either of the above, I do not see a way of living in Brazil. You could only come for 90 days on the evisa,
Go online to the nearest BR Consulate and look at the types of visas. From what you described 99% sure there is no way to get permanent residency in BR.
