Heloísa Eneida Menezes Paes Pinto or Helô Pinheiro as she is commonly known went through a turbulent relationship because of the song, her boyfriend (now husband) had a very jealous streak and the song just drove him wild with fury.

Got to admit, she still looks pretty damned hot to me!!!

1). After I posted this thread I realized the mistake I did by not saying the name of the song in Brazilian, which I knew all too well Garota de Ipanema ...
I hope you realized that if I mention Samba De Uma Nota So and the other two unforgettable oldies but goldies, I know about Garota de Ipanema.

2). However, you posting the pic of The Garota is amazing.  She looks gorgeous and I cannot even imagine how pretty she was to inspire Jobim to write such evergreen.
