The greatest gift of all is true friendship

I will try to find the words to express exactly how I feel at this moment although I know it is going to be extremely difficult to put such emotion on paper.

I opened my mailbox today and this is what was waiting for me. I have never felt so much a part of a close and caring FAMILY as I do at this moment. Today this card arrived from Expat-blog Team in Mauritius and the outpouring of well-wishes from everybody has truly touched my heart. The emotion is so overwhelming that my heart can hardly contain all the feelings.

In the midst of my health problems, this simple card and the wishes that it conveys is the best medicine in the whole world. Just knowing that so many wonderful people with whom I work are thinking of me and hoping for my recovery is the greatest gift that one could ever receive.

My sincerest thanks to Julien, Julie and everyone else on the Expat-blog Team for your thoughts and wishes. I can tell you that with a year that starts out like this, THE SKY IS THE LIMIT!!! I know that this will be the very best year of my life.
