Is living in Vanimo Safe?

Hi, i got a job offer at vanimo.. could anyone tell me about this place.. is the people nice? is it safe to work there? is the cost of living ok? Please help me..

Vanimo is the peaceful place in the western end of PNG.

People there are loving and caring and futhermore mind their own business.
