Where in NJ?

Somewhere near Rutgers University, I heard
Do you live near there? how about the traffic in NJ? bus, train or have to drive myself?

So you will be in north Jersey, not too far from NY City, a place where public transportation,  including buses and trains are available and widely used.  Because I am older than 62 I get reduced fares on Trans bridge buses, can ride from Allentown, Pennsylvania to 42nd Street in NYC for $25 round trip.  The Rutgers campus is a nice place, but mostly north Jersey is a bedroom community for NYC.  In warmer weather you will want to hit the Jersey  shore.  Good luck.

I live in Bethlehem, PA, next to Allentown, about 25 miles from Philipsburg, NJ. Not sure what I can tell you about everyday life, will need more specific questions.
