Afrikaans Nursery schools in Abu Dhabi

Good day,

My husband and I are thinking of moving to Abu Dhabi for 2-3 years as he has received a great opportunity there.

Since there are so literally thousands of Afrikaans speaking South Africans in the city, I was wondering if anyone knew of an Afrikaans school there.

If so, could you please let me know so that I can look into it.

I am already in Abu Dhabi for about 4 years and want to bring the family up and also looking into getting the kids to learn in Afrikaans but with no luck so far.

Any luck??

Hi Henkas,

Unfortunately not. All the private schools in Abu Dhabi are English Medium. I have however found a playgroup with Afrikaans kids that get together once a week. And also an Afrikaans Church which meets on Monday evenings and the kids can go to Sunday school as well. Let me know if you need any details
