Freezone Check in UAE

Hi anyone,

I have a freezone company in the UAE: it has been operating for 5 years now without any problems. Today I received a mail from the freezone entity stating that in accordance with a government article of 2020, the company has been selected to attend a meeting to review the status. It certainly looks like some random check. Has anyone else had something similar?

Appreciate any feedback.

Hi,

we have a company in jebel ali free zone since oct 2021 i got similar email last year but that is not the same. they sent me list of shipment we received and ask me to fill the sold item weight and Qty's only. we submitted that in a time frame and after it we didn't get any response. they told me it is a Random Audit. may be they can check similar things with you upon meeting.
