Transfer Sponsorship of Wife

saji19876

Dear Sir,

I came here as Driver profession in a well known company's visa 10 years before. I got married, brought my wife as a Nurse, she delivered in Saudi, son dependent under me - that time I applied for family status got approved. Later my wife went exit, I changed my profession, got again visa for my family and both my wife & My son came again to Saudi Arabia.

Now my wife wants to work in hospital. While inquired about job, came to know that she must have NOC (Naqal Kafala) from my sponsor to work outside.  While asking my company, they told that my contract which is married now, they will make single after giving NOC.

Now, i want to know that - is it illegal to ask NOC for my wife to my company, what disadvantage for company to give this letter to me? Why they are putting such illogical condition? Is there any other legal option to finalize this matter?

Please reply on this

Thanking you

:( For all i know, since your wife and son (I assumed) are your dependents, you're supposed to be their sponsor...
If she wants to be transferred, then, it is you who  will grant her permission (NOC), as the sponsorship is from you--to the hospital...and not directly from your company.
If she got transferred, her medical and tickets if covered by your company will be lost...

@ saji19876!
As per my knowledge, you are the sponsor of your dependents and not your company directly. So NOC should be from you and not from your company.
Regarding your family status, most of the companies will cancel your family status as your family will no more be dependent on you but I believe there is always a margin of bargain in such cases.

Dear Sir,

Thanks a lot for your reply.  I am sure that it is not from my side as i got one printed paper from Ministry Hospital stating they need Naqal Kafala from Kafeel Al-Hali the same is translated in English at other side.

My objection is only they want to change my status in single if they give me NOC because in my company there are so many staff whose family has not at all visited Saudi Arabia and some of them have not married also - having family/married status.  And as I mentioned, I got family status when my wife was working under different Sponsor, my son was my dependent and my profession was driver.  Now, I changed my profession in General Accountant, company gave me visa to my wife & son. so I hope that if no loss except giving benefit of my son to my company, no need to change my status.

One Saudi told me that to write and sign on an A4 size paper, authenticate it by the company and get seal of Chamber of Commerce; but he is not sure enough that it will work out or not.

Thanking you and waiting for your reply
