Saudi EXIT VISAS

You can get a multiple exit re-entry visa if your employer allows for it and yes, you must have an ERE to leave/re-enter Saudi.   I used to get a 1 year exit re-entry visa every time - timing it alongside Iqama renewal (you cannot get an ERE beyond your Iqama expiry).   Since I got premium residency, I am done with exit re-entry which is a relief.

Thank you for your reply. I thought they might abolish the exit visa requirements as part of the 'modernisation' drive.

No such luck.  Only abolished for premium residency holders.
