Dear vishnu,

Out of my experience i want to share something regarding the profession change first you need to approach your HR dept in order to charge your desire profession with the stipulated fee , as far as i am concerned my profession was restaurant waiter i am actually working in sales & marketing team in a reputed hotel i just changed my profession as Marketing specialist with the help of my HR dept with out submitting any relevent attested certificate , so you can try through that and let us know .

But sooner or later your relevent certificates need to be attested by the saudi embassy in your country so try to take necessary steps to finalize you things from now on .

shaik Abdul Kader

Dear abdul kareem

Assalamu alaikum, regarding the profession change you need to approach your HR dept with the stipulated fee during this grace period they can change you profession through online with out any relevent certificates so hurry up & finalize your thing

but sooner or later your relavent field degree certicatea has to be attested by HRD & saudi embassy in your country for further use

shaik Abdul Kader

Dear HR guru concerned,

I had clarified with you regarding my profession change i am glad to inform one and all that i have changed my profession as marketing specialist through online with the help of our HR team & i have not submit any related certificates .

HRGuru

Thanks for the update, perhaps you could detail the process here for others so that more people can benefit out of this. Good work Shaik.

Thanks HRGURU

I am going to attest my degree from saudi culture & Embassy in Karachi.
I need a format of Letter for both  culture & Embassy. What should be written on this letter and whom i addressed in both letter.
Is this letter written from me or from my company. I am in Jeddah & my Iqama is in process.

Kindly oblige.

The letter should be addressed to consul general in Pakistan, and should be from your company saying that you are hired for "x" job and that your certificate needs to attested in order to get the visa and the letter should also specify your visa number and issue date. This letter should be attested from COC and MOFA but MOFA is no longer attesting this letter.

So your best bet or easier process is to get your offer letter and employment contract with visa title and visa number and issue date signed, stamped from both parties (you and employer) and then attest it from COC and MOFA and then use these documents to get the certificate attested rather than the letter.

Dear HRGuru,

I am working in a company as Network Admin and my profession on Iqama is Labour. I have Bachelor Degree in Computer Sciences, that is not attested.

Due to new rules every worker should have same profession on Iqama as what he is working.

As an expert, Could you please advice me what I should do?

- Should I change my profession?
- Is a company with Green status can change the profession without attested Degree?
- If my company change my profession as TECHNICAL COMPUTER(Fani Computere),will it be a problem at the time of Iqama renewal ?

Waiting for your best advices.

Thanks in advance.

Best Regards,

- Should I change my profession?

Yes, better to do it.

- Is a company with Green status can change the profession without attested Degree?

Company's nitaqat status has nothing to do with profession change since this is done for your iqama. Normal process you need attested certificate, under the grace period it was waived along with fees. Since the period has been extended I am assuming the same rules might apply. Not sure though.

- If my company change my profession as TECHNICAL COMPUTER(Fani Computere),will it be a problem at the time of Iqama renewal ?

Once a profession is changed as per your qualification there wont be any more issues in renewal.

Welcome :)

Dear all concerned ,

Out of my experience regarding the above discussing , i have changec my profession with the help of our HE dept with out submitting any relevent certicates (not even copies) while my all certificates are under process of attestation india for further things

So any body want to change their profession without your relevent certicates which you want to change however you will have to submit your all relevent original certificates at the time of applying for visa for verificatin

As emi said earlier for the timebeing we can change without certificates .

Under the grace period you can change the profession without certificate and fees, also you can change your sponsorship without iqama. You need to approach the labor office / jawazat in order to do so.

It can be done even if the 90 day period is over and you are illegal now. The process will be detailed you once you go there, or you can search this forum for people who has already done this. You need to carry with you all your relevant documents in original and copies in order to be on the safe side.

Yes they need to support you with all documents that are normally required from their side like the demand letter etc and also if a GR/ PR / HR guy is with you , your papers can be followed and processed faster.

Under the grace period you can change your profession to anything without the need for an attested certificate. Approach the labor office in your area and you will know the details.

There is no fee for profession change during the grace period. You need to approach the labor office / jawazat offices located at King Fahad Road, near to Lulu Hypermarket. You need to carry with you copies of all your documents, if an engineer, SCE registration might be required. Originals of iqama, passport and certificate and a translation of the certificate is also good to carry.

Hello.

My company is in Green. I am working as a System Administrator with more than 7 years experience which include around 3.5 years covered in Saudi Arabia in the same company. My Iqama profession is Computer programmer but my degree certificate is B.E Electrical Engineering. Will it do any harm for me, as I am planning to apply for Family visa?

TheLegendLeads

No it won't. I have the same case.

remyabi

Thank you :)

You have given the problem and all associated solutions within the same mail. How can the family go for vacation when the situation is not yet rectified. You need to get iqama issued or at least get it done for you and your family in the system and then only you can apply for ERE. There is no other solution to this I am afraid.

It does not matter if your iqama is issued from one city and you are working in another , as long as you are working with your sponsor as per your iqama.

As for the profession, Marketing Specialist is suitable with B.COM degree.

Usman.Ghani

ok thanks a lot i really appreciate your guys work best of luck....

Dear HRGuru,

I've been following your posts and I learned so many things from you. Thank you for your efforts and help to many people.May you be blessed always. My appreciations also to all other good contributors.

I'd like to inquire regarding transfer of sponsorship.

My company is in yellow category and I've been given a demand letter from another company which is also in yellow category with a convincing explanation that they will be green in 2 months time.
1. Can my present company give me release papers (should they agree to release me) and it's not their concern whether the other company is in yellow category or not?
2. If my papers will be handed over to other company but still can't officially transfer my iqama before the Nov 3 deadline, will it pose problem to me even they will give me their company letter stating that are processing my transfer?

Hope you can enlighten me about this. Thanks.
