Once my husband’s flight will pursue next week coming here in Riyadh under family visit visa, can he go directly to our apartment?
Thank you.

Yes, it is possible as long as he is fully vaccinated already. However, the problem now is that the Saudi Visa Application Center in the Phils is still experiencing technical issues resulting in the delay of visa stamping until further notice.☹️

ledsfebaloloy

Yes he is fully vaccinated(pfizer). However, the issue right now is the pending visa stamping. You are right. Any suggestion if I have to re-book again his flight as early as now? Today is his flight supposedly, I re-booked on Dec. 8, 2021. I am worried and stressed.😔

Just wait for few more days i guess, hoping and praying it will be okay in the next days. My mom in law is awaiting for the visa stamping also, but we haven't book any flight yet. By the way is his covid vaccine certified by BOQ

ledsfebaloloy

Yes certified by BOQ. We hope before this week will end it will be fix. Adding to stress is the new variant.

Great., let's claim it, visa stamped passport is on its way. 🙏🙏🙏 You are right, omicron variant is a threat and stress, but more to those who are going home to the Phils compared to those leaving the country.

Hi.  How to certify the vaccine certificate by BOQ?  thanks.

ledsfebaloloy

Hi!
You have to get an appointment in the nearest BOQ in your place thru www.icv.boq.ph then pay(300php). If appointment is secured, bring with you your vaccination certificate and passport.

ledsfebaloloy

My husband contacted the Saudi Embassy today, says that they are still waiting for an update. Even in email they answered the same. Hope things will be okay this week.

is the certification required for your family visit visa?  It is not mentioned in the VFS requirements.

ledsfebaloloy

It is not. But it is required by the Saudia Airlines as per travel guidelines. Kindly check their website. It is specifically written under “International flights from/to Saudi Arabia”.

But is the VaxCertPH issued by DOH not enough?  this is also a certified vaccination certificate.  The problem with ICV is there is no available date from BOQ.

ledsfebaloloy

As far as I know once you will travel abroad, it must be certified by BOQ(ICV) but depends in the country of destination. As per the experience of others who gone through it, it must be from BOQ. Because this covid cert(yellow card) will be attached in the muqeem then to be send to covax@moh.gov.sa in order for your covid vaccine details to appear in Tawakkalna.

ledsfebaloloy

Yes you are right, the one from DOH is certified but to be certified internationally it must from BOQ. Always check from time to time the BOQ website for appointment because early morning or around 8-9am they are opening slots everyday in all of their satellites. This info is from a BOQ staff in MOA satellite as per my husband’s experience last week. We had difficulty securing appointment too but we are checking the site everyday(last week) luckily we got ours. Try it too.

thanks.  I am processing my children's Saudi resident visa and I will just let my kids fall under the unvaccinated category as they will be required only for 5 days home quarantine and PCR test on the 5th day.  My wife will be accompanying them who has iqama and already fully vaccinated.

Quote from Saudia website:
Companions with the vaccinated parents are allowed to enter in accordance to the following:
Guests under the age of (18) years are subject to Home Quarantine for (5) days and must take Corona Virus Test on day (5) for those who have completed (8) years and above.

Good day!

Has anyone of you here applied for family visit visa at VFS Manila this month of November and experience a delay in the processing time of application. Based on our previous applications usually it takes 2-3 days only to receive the visa stamped passport but unfortunately for my mom in law who applied last Nov. 22, 2021 up until now upon tracking the status, it just shows application has been forwarded to KSA Embassy. Does it suggest any problem on the application. Thank you

Yup, we processed for my older son's visit visa last Nov 4 at VFS Manila and it was forwarded to KSA Embassy the following day (Nov 5). Then the stamped passport was sent via LBC on Nov 8 but was delivered at home on Nov 11. You can also check by calling the courier but expect some delays due to the pandemic.

ledsfebaloloy

For my husband’s situation. He had appointment in VFS Manila last Nov. 17(family visit visa stamping) unfortunately as per the said agency system is down in Saudi Embassy since Nov. 15. They had given my husband an option to still submit and process the visa stamping though the system is down and if the Embassy will send it back to them my husband has to pay again for the insurance or just wait until it is fix. So then my husband decided to wait but the next day he went again to VFS because he changed his mind, that day(Nov.17 or 18) they are not accepting anymore for the meantime as per the Embassy’s instruction. Since then, everyday we are sending email to Saudi Embassy to follow-up, sad to say until today they are still fixing the technical issue(which is the reference number is not match- this info is from VFS). I even called the MOFA but as per the agent they don’t know anything about the problem in the Embassy. Tomorrow I will try to call again the MOFA and Saudi Embassy.

Kathya0209

As for my mom-in-law, we were actually clueless of the ongoing technical issue. When she had her appointment in the morning of Nov. 22, everything went smoothly. No delays at all from checking of documents till biometrics and payment. She was only advised to wait 3-5 days for the passport collection. At that time i was already wondering why there is a change from their processing time because as per the website and from my experience it only takes 2-3 days for the passport to be stamped. Then i started checking on fb for groups who are processing their FVV, and there i learned there was indeed an unclear problem since nov. 15 and beyond. Today, when i check the status it still says the applicatiin has been forwardd to KSA embassy. Hoping it will be fix sooner.

Hi guys, is the vfs tasheel system still down? Until when? But I can still submit the documents? Thank you

Is it really need to book a flight coming back to Philippines in a multiple family visit visa?

ledsfebaloloy wrote:

To be safe, yes, just to avoid further questioning from our immigration officers since you're holding a visit visa. Although you can easily reroute/rebook your return flight to any nearby countries like UAE (Dubai) at your own discretion before the max (90 days) of stay in KSA. Just an opinion.

I checked their website just now and its functioning. You can book an appointment then if the system is down on your scheduled date, they will advise you what to do. You are even allowed to come back on site without new appointment but make sure to be there before 8am.

alunalim1219

Ok thank you sir. Glad to know that I can still submit my documents.

Kathya0209

To avoid further delays in your flight they said its better to have a return flight since they will be asking you in the immigration, some suggests to just rent a flight. For more details I suggest that you check on the fb group Pinoy family visit visa Saudi arabia. Request to join so you will also be updated on the current process based on our kababayans recent experience in the Phils

Hello and thank you for all the information shared.
I have a Multiple Family Visit Visa for my wife(33) and son(3).
For what I understand to all I read:
1. Multiple Family Visit Visa (valid for 1 year to process)
2. Once Visa stamping is done (you have 90 days allowance to enter Saudi Arabia)
3. Prepare MC and BC (DFA Apostilled and Saudi Arabia Embassy Attestation via EastWest)
4. Book VFS Tasheel appointment

My question is :
1. is Medical Test require before VFS appointment?
2. is Yellow Fever vaccine need before VFS appointment?
3. is Insurance will be done in VFS?
4. is the VFS fees per head?

Hi, please see these answers to your query:
1. Medical test is not required for visit visas
2. Yellow fever and polio vaccines need to be done first before VFS appointment
3. Yes
4. Yes

P.S. What I know is that visit visa is only valid for 3 months after issuance to process, resident/dependent visa is valid for 1 year. As of the moment, only Lounge appointment is available and system (KSA) is frequently down these days but they will advise you, in case.

Good luck.

Ah that's good news if that is the case. I applied for 1 yr multiple entry family visit visa for my son in October but it was processed in VFS on Nov 4 as our company's Passport Office have no definite answer regarding its validity. Thanks for the info.
