In online form there is no such space, ask her to try once more and Insha Allah she will get.

my bro i checked it out myself, there is a small line for reason of visit.. sometimes u dont even notice it

or maybe.. i wonder if parents in law can get visit visa !?!! i know parents do get one but not sure may be parents in law are not even granted one..

There you need to write " Family Visit" its emough.

I myself applied for mother in law and its under process the MOFA has asked me to submit related documents, so try once more as there is no problem in trying again. Just need to spend 25 SAR . Good luck for next application.

That means followup ticket. There must be a number in there. Just take a printout of that page and visit the MoFA office.
