I would think so! 'business visas' are available for example. - renewable every 3 months.

Hi Chondu

Thank you for replying to my query.

So I can apply for a business visa in the hope of finding a suitable job?

Please could you advise me if you have any experience of this or know anyone who might be able to help me.

Many thanks.

Kind regards

I don't know why people persist on giving wrong information even when Jawazat (Saudi immigration) keeps clarifying this repeatedly in newspapers.  An example:

A visit visa CANNOT be converted into a work visa.  You have to leave the Kingdom, complete the formalities, apply for a work visa and then enter on it to get your legal residence card (Iqama).  Do not confuse a business visa with a work visa - the business visa is for you to come and conduct business e.g. meetings, conferences etc...but NOT to work.

You can look for a job and if you get one, your employer will help you with the formalities for a work visa - and they are painful e.g. attested degrees, medicals etc etc.

Good evening XTang
