Spouse Iqama Process

I'd be grateful for clarification regarding getting my wife her Spouse visa in KSA. We are both British, but travelled from Oman to live and work in KSA. I now have Iqama, my wife has been staying here in KSA on a 1 year evisa so far, I now need to get her the spouse Iqama. Is it possible for her to get the first required medical in Bahrain and re-enter Saudi from Bahrain to start the Iqama process, rather than go back to UK? Many thanks, for your help.
