I am an American looking to move her life to Jordan with her Jordanian husband. Are there any Americans who can give me insight on what life is like for an American in Jordan? I have converted to islam and am in love with the arab culture of how they are family oritented.
hi, I am also an american getting ready to move to Jordan. I have visited Jordan twice and life there is pretty good. I've seen a lot of americans shopping, driving or just eating out in restaurants. I will be looking for work there since I don't know anyone there except my husband's family. When do u plan on moving? And would you be looking for a job ?
I am going there in November 2010 for a visit and to look around for housing... We would like to move by September of 2011. I am finishing my boards for my RN and would like to see what I have to do to transfer that to Amman.
Thank you so much for your reply... I really look forward to visiting this beautiful country and making my decision... It helps with the input of others.. I am a medical assistant anyone know of any jobs that would be available for me?
I am an american living in Amman with a Jordanian husband. Visiting is nice, living here is different. It is nothing like living in the US. It is culturally different. The good thing is that the people are warm and inviting and it is a very safe country. It is also expensive. If you have support from family and enough income, you will fine. Good luck
