Welcome on boardΒ
This is the first time I read that someone come to Jordan to do a military course.
How do you like Madaba?Β Or you don't live there?

May I remind you that this site is not a dating site?
And I think it's quite disrespectful to ignore the newbie who take the time and effort to introduce himself.
I also agree with Primadonna, It's the first time I hear someone coming to Jordan for a military course.
How do you like Joedan do far? and since you came with your family and planning to stay for a whole year here, did you find a good school for your kids?
Peace, light and happiness.

Welcome to Jordan, I wish you a wonderful stay and I extend my friendship should you choose to accept it.
Have a wonderful day!
Zeid.
I think it is like everywhere else where it highly depends on your skillset and what are you looking for.
So do share a bit more to shed a light on those points if you like.
Have a great day!

I'm an American guy who finds myself in Amman with my wife and two baby daughters for at least the next 3 months.
Long story short, we find ourselves here due to Work permit/visa problems in Turkey forcing us to leave...
Also, my wife had a medical emergency stemming from malpractice and incompetence in Turkish private hospitals which caused her to be hospitalized for ten days in the most horrendous research hospital in Turkey.
In the interest of staying in the same time zone to hopefully continue managing my office in Turkey, while seeking a location with better healthcare options, Jordan was the most obvious choice.
We've already needed to go to the ER here in Amman once while here, and I must say the quality of care, and the cleanliness of the facilities in the private hospital put the hospitals in Turkey to shame.
So far we have not had much success getting a reasonably priced, family friendly, furnished apartment near markets and shopping areas (easily walkable)... I'm joining this forum to hopefully get some help and advice from the veteran expats here.
Regards,
I'm looking for somebody to take care of a small apartment I live in on weekly bases part time. I live alone so the work is slightly low effort.
A waiting for your reply to communicate.
Best,
Edhard
