Looking for a suitable compound in Bahrain

Compounds in Bahrain have a very different definition from Saudi.  Here it is gated communities which vary in size and facilities.  No exclusion of locals from most of these communities except for US Military exclusive housing areas.  Some compounds have one owner / manager but others could have many different owners (Riffa views) so dealing practices vary from case to case. 

And it could be 5 (smaller compounds in saar) to hundreds of villas (Riffa views) in a compound.  Most places are listed on the property sites and any list would become quickly out dated.

You might want to work with a real estate agent.  Close to the causeway; the best option is Hamala.  Price ranges from 1000 to 2000 BD depending on the villa and location.
