I am seriously looking to move to Spain, I have 35 years in the hospitality trade and I am looking for work in the Malgret la mar area. Any information which can help me would be warmly received and hello to all of you who are lucky enough to live there already. - @scoates92

You will need to find a company willing to employ you so to sponsor you for a visa. An added bonus would be if you speak Spanish?

The Brit is passport is a bit useless work-wise, post-Brexit. Not impossible, but challenging.

With 35 years of experience, it sound like you might be heading towards retirement age... and you might be in line for a very healthy pension after all these working years. You might therefore (if you have 30k euros of savings) consider the No Lucrativa Visa. It's a very popular residence visa with pensioners and those of independent means. It's one of the quickest and easiest routes to legal residence. and let's you make the move, find a new home, and potentially sort out public healthcare. It's a non-working visa, but nothing stops you from job-hunting and applying for a change of status if you find a suitable job/employer. It's a bit naughty (so I can't recommend it), but some folks sneakily do some remote work, or perhaps a few hours cash-in-hand.
