VISA D QUERY

Paul Hans.

Hello,

My partners Visa D application was rejected, without any feedback.

According to our attorney and the Serbian Embassy in South Africa, all the documents looked okay.

But to be on the safe side, I wish to ask people with experience for some feedback on some areas where there might be an area of improvement:

1.How much money do you recommend people to have in  the account for a 100 day Visa D application?
2.Are there a health insurance you can recommend that is 100% accepted by Serbian officials for Visa D application?
3.What kind of accommodation is recommended? We had booked and paid 4 months through Airbnb. Maybe that is not good enough?
4.Any other advice?

1. There should be 1000e on your personal account, this is recommended amount
2. You can take the basic instance which is 70e/person and it covers 12 months, that's how long the temporary residency can be obtained.
3. It is much better to have a flat, appartment booked on the basis of an agreement signed at least on 1 year.
