I do agree with you but many things in Bucharest are way too expensive - just check the shopping malls but some people obviously still keep those afloat too!

In general - companies would get a good deal on school places so it would be part of expat package, but if you look at the breakdown in most of the schools I think you will find its more than 50% Romanian kids
