We recently bought a 33 hectare property about 15 kms from Serpa, Alentejo and we intend to dedicate approximately 10 hectares to start an eco community.

We have not yet started the community but are in the process of identifying like minded people to join in. We intend to get it started by April, provided the covid situation improves or stabilizes.

There are 3 families who have shown interest and are really keen but we are looking for 2 more families to get it started.

The first 5 families alongwith us as the landowners will formulate the guidelines and the process on how best to take it forward. Ideally we would like to limit the number to around 20 families.
