Strontium

This link to BBC article is about the ongoing changes to UK - EU travel. Seems a bit of a mess but that is just my opinion.

Where are those responsible for this, like Boris the yellowhead and Farrage?!? They who deceived UK citizens with rosed pinked speeches and unrealistic promisses ...??!?

TGCampo

I think that a majority voted for Brexit and that should be accepted. Deception is what everybody should expect. For better or worse. The EU is very likely in as much as mess as the UK is.

The majority didn't vote for Brexit, far from it. The EU isn't a mess like the UK is; they haven't got the red tape the UK has to deal with for trade.

If there were a Referendum today, the UK would vote to go back in.

I recall that there was a referendum and a small majority voted "Leave". I might be wrong, but that's what I remember. I know a few people who voted "Leave", but would like to undo this.

Are you aware that millions were not allowed to vote in the referendum and elections because they had lived outside the UK for more than 15 years? This rule has now changed, and people are permitted to vote now.

The latter is always an issue - one way or the other. I always have to write to the election committee and provide arguments why I should still be allowed to vote. And many people simply don't take the time to do this. Maybe next time I will give it a miss, but if one is still somewhat connected that isn't easy.
