Council Tax

Guestposter155

Hi all,

We are hoping to move over next year. We are both retired and receive a state pension of around 1750 euros between us. We are looking to buy a new mobile home in Setubal. Is there a Uk equivalent to council tax  for mobile homes.

Hi Sally,

A movable/mobile house, provided that it is materially attached to the ground and remains in the same place for a period of more than one year, is considered a building for the purposes of real estate tax (IMI, council tax).
