Chris, you are not married, ok? No problem as long as you have been living together for at least 2 years. But you will need a document to prove it.

Thanks, but do you have any example of "proving documents"? Can you advice me?

In Portugal, this proof is done by requesting a statement from the parish council where you both live, where you must provide:

- A declaration from both of you, under oath of honour that you have been living in a partnership for more than two years;

- A full copy of each person's birth registration.

As you do not live in Portugal together, there are other options that "can be" enough to prove that you live in a partnership, but it will depend on who analyse your requirement, and this may not be straightforward at all (opt 2&3...):

- 1. Having children in common;

- 2. A bank document proving that you have both held the same account for more than 2 years;

- 3. Shared yearly tax statements for more than 2 years;

...

In your case, I admit it is not easy to prove it... the best is for her to apply for a residence permit, like most non EU expats and follow the path they all do.

What about season working visa?

Who and where can she apply for that.

How quick, how many weeks is the answer to that?
