30% Ruling for MVV Holder?

dlvh511
Hi all,

I will be applying for MVV and residence permit through my Dutch husband. If I were to get a job, I'm wondering whether I will still be eligible for the 30% ruling? I will be relocating from Singapore.

Many thanks!

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

MVV doesn't by itself infer the 30% tax ruling.  It will always depend on the individual's circumstances, the Dutch Government (Belastingdienst) have a webpage that may help you in determining your eligibility; this link will take you straight to it.

Hope this helps.

You are only eligible for the 30 % ruling if only you have to be hired from abroad (and not after you arrived in the Netherlands) AND it's a high skilled job.

Your partner might be able to opt for the tax rule, of course if you meet the requirements.
