A new law on foreigners has been voted i January 2026. It is more strict than before, so you need to check this out before moving here.
Among the most notable changes from the previous law:
- Residency based on Property ownership is possible if the value of the property is min. 150.000€
- Residency based on company creation : min. 5.000€ taxes per year must be paid.
