who knows if a south african citizen can rezide in Malta if he buys or rent a property?

for a permanent resident you have to buy property, have 23k in the bank and meet a couple other requirements...   pretty simple if you have the cash though.  But you must meet the requirements.

not true - you have to buy OR rent, subject to a minimum value
