EUROPEAN HEALTH INSURANCE CARDS (EHIC)...?

RoyR5085

I have just been sent this by a friend and others seem to suggest that this is true too. Any comments welcome.

EUROPEAN HEALTH INSURANCE CARDS (EHIC)...
IT IS FREE TO RE-NEW!! BEWARE & READ ON PLEASE..........

This could save some unsuspecting people quite a few quid. A friend and his wife are going away in a few weeks and they realised that their European Health Insurance Cards (EHIC) were out of date and he went online to renew them and he nearly fell for a scam!!

There is a site which you think is an official government one but it isnt!!

You fill in your details etc and THEN they charge you £23.50 per application just to check the details and then forward the form onto the proper place.

Please remember this card is FREE so dont get scammed by these faceless people!

There is a similar passport one running they charge you the full amount...you think youve applied for a passport but you havent, you just get the passport form back "checked" and then you apply for a passport and pay again.
