With some exception?
No
Ricky  students can't  do part time job in a hotels .bars .or in a resort..
Hi Arsian,

non-EU students are not allowed to have any full-or part-time work for the first year of their studies.  They would not issue a work permit until you are in your second year of studying.

There are no other exceptions.

Hi 2 Ricky  and thx to giving me information. I was planning to come in Malta in the month of July  I have 2 and half year work experience of hospitality industry. What visa should I avail to living and earning in Malta?
Hi Arsian,

I don't think you can just come to live in Malta and earn ! It Won't be that easy.

To live in Malta and earn you will need a work permit and then residency. If you come as a tourist you are a tourist and can't live and work in the EU. If you come to study you can get a visa to allow you to study but not to work.

It sounds as if you are looking to work in the EU and not study or come as a tourist. If your qualifications are better than those of Maltese or EU citizens you can find an employer to apply for a work permit for you. But it will be difficult.

Whichever visa you choose you will need to show quite a bit of money, health insurance and return plane tickets to get a visa. And a good reason for wanting to visit Malta. I would not mention wanting to live here and earn as a reason. That would not be so good.

Cheers
Ricky
